One Of Many Children

Many children face various challenges and struggles in life. Journey, a 2 year old little girl was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, there were complications and needed an Insulin Pump which cost around $10,000 for the pump and a year worth of supplies. Her parents, Mike and Jenn, were pro-active and raised $5,700 from friends, family, and with the help of the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children, were donated $4,600. This donation was through the Edmonton Elks and Royal Purple which enabled Mike and Jenn to get the pump and supplies for Journey which will allow her lead a normal life and help her parents know what is happening as time progresses and she gets older.
